You're comparing physical grind and hard work to sitting down and trying to perfect a video game playstyle. Sitting there for hours because you have nothing to do all day in front of a tv isn't.
The amount of dedication and time you have to put in to a sport to be a professional is nowhere near the amount you need to be a "pro gamer".
Sorry to bust your bubble but being good at video games isn't some great talent. It's not something you can tell people and have them take you seriously. It's not work experience.
When you get out their in the real world you'll understand this concept. You kids that think competitive gaming are the equivalent to sports like football, basketball and baseball are a complete joke.
