I would love to see elemental primary's in action. Just in a different way.
I've been thinking of two ways this could be implemented:
1. Elemental infusion cores have a chance to drop from old raids
a. Void from VoG
b. Arc from Crota
c. Solar from Skolas.
Leave kings fall the way it is, since it is our current raid,it's the way to get top-light gear. These "Infusion Cores" could add +5 light (up to 320) to help reduce the grind to max light primaries too.
or:
Elemental ammo synths. You could craft them
50 spinmetal + 10 Primary synths = 1 Arc Primary Synth
50 Relic Iron + 10 Primary Synths = 1 Void Primary Synth
50 Helium Filaments + 10 Primary Synths = 1 Solar Primary Synth.
Your ammo type lasts for 5 minutes.
I think it would be wayyy cooler to run a solar nightfall and check out what your buddy decided to make solar instead of knowing he has (for example) VoC, Black Hammer, Gally.

Why would you suggest yet another grind to add to the game?

I guess I don't consider doing the best activities in the game a grind. I see how people can think that, but to me a grind is like...collecting hadium flakes or planetary materials. If the main objective involves me and a team playing the game...I'm having fun and don't see it as a grind.

I'm talking about farming materials to use for a 5 minute burn on a primary.

Oh, well I figured legendary marks would make that easier. I'm more in favor of option 1 myself.

Huh...didn't notice that. But it's not like they couldn't add them back in. Besides, the dang things drop like candy in the raid lol.

Only issue I have is C. POE was not a raid the first part of the idea would be great if it was all raid related.

Yea, I shoulda been more specific. I personally LOVED the skolas fight so I wanted it to be included. I think getting roasted by his scorch cannon would really hammer in the solar infusion core too.

Then I kinda suggest solar burn for him,just to make him a challenge that an they would have to make all the old stuff on par with year two. Personally I think Eris should have more weapons like Murr Murr that can switch between burns, even bring back all the old legendaries from y1 an even vanilla. Bring variety into y2

Hmm I'll need to edit my post, this is assuming the raids/PoE was brought up in difficulty. I like the variety we have now. Is more better? Absolutely! I'm not saying don't bring the old guns up. But I'd be just as happy, if not more stoked if we saw more foundries and more variety from the foundries.

Now that I think about it Armor is neglected, I think exotic armor should give people grimmore as well, and there should be more foundries that make exotic armor

That'd be awesome! So much lore could be incorporated! I'd love to read up on twilight garrison. I've found myself missing my year one armor more than my guns. I loved the way my titan looked in y1. Y2 armor just isn't as formidable in the looks department.
