Why Are Broman & Gothalian So Popular?
I don't see why they're bigger than streamers who are actually good at the game like mtashed, Wish You Luck, tripleWRECK, Giggle Monstar, Gamesager, Realkraftyy or WaRbulletpoof. Can someone explain this to me? Why would you watch a streamer even though they're not that strong of a player?

4 RepliesBroman is nice to his viewers and isn't hyper masculine. He's like an over-excited child in a large man's body, who uses supportive and positive language. His viewers feels like he cares about them. He's also fairly attractive. He gets excited at just about anything too, and he's not that good, which makes him more relatable. Gothalion? He's attractive, so that is one thing. I personally can't watch his streams because he comes off pouty and slightly douchey. I don't watch streamers at all, but I've seen Broman's streams because one of my best friends watches certain streamers. Broman is one of his favorites.

Because they play PvE, which destiny was created for. The player base is just from Halo, which is a PvP game, so the players like PvP more.

Personally I'd rather watch someone who can make me laugh and keep me entertained than some young prodigy that has an ego that needs stroking. Realkraftty is the man though, he is hilarious.

2 RepliesGoth has been around for a long time and accumulated viewers from a year of streaming Borderlands 2 then switching to Destiny on release. He's entertaining, interacts with the chat, doesn't act like he's better than anyone else (which most top PvPers do) and is just a generally positive person. Broman got a little popularity then just rode Goth's coattails to a large viewer count. Goth used to stream every day starting around 9am in Florida, and when Goth's stream was ending Broman's would start so viewers would move from Goth's stream to Bromans. That was when Broman's numbers were the strongest. Goth's kind of all over the place now in his streaming and Broman's numbers have slipped for that reason and also the fact that he's completely changed personality wise over the last year or so. When I first watched him he was a very happy, upbeat, positive streamer and now he regularly preaches at his viewers and berates chat.

Meanwhile, they typically ask for donations or something as "it helps a lot". Guess people's lives are so boring they need to watch someone that actually have some personality or something:

Bro most player are not great In destiny which both can be relatedable to. But also its because u don't have to be the best player because y do people watch streams? ENTRAINMENT so while I do prefer watching tripe or war playing sweats I love goth and how funny he is and how chill he is. And his not bad at game at all so I love both types of streams but for other people it down to entrainment and how relatable their are to them self. For the most part goth is way more entraining than war for many more reasons maybe not in game play but other ways. While tripe is the funny guy who entraining in both gameplay and personality so that y his my fav stream and his really popular.

Because they are charismatic people that stream consistently and stream at a time where people are most likely to open up the Twitch app or website. Basically they are good at entertaining people and making them feel welcome whereas other streamers may seem too serious. [spoiler]I like Goth, not really Broman, he screams too much[/spoiler]

Goth is funny to watch, imo anyway, he has a laugh, gets drunk and is never too serious. Real Kraft is also a funny guy!

It's a little bit more about entertainment factor than skill. Goth is really entertaining, and not that bad of a player. I don't find Broman entertaining, and he's really fu#king bad.

Goth account is really old. Going back to BL 2 before dlc. Most old accounts are usually popular. Broman asked Goth for help to gain subs and views in exchange for what. No one knows.
