The thing is Bungie artists didn't come up with the concept. Co-witnessing is a real thing on real guns. Look it up.

I generally don't focus exclusively on the red dot and I've got a very high precision kill ratio with Boolean Gemini (72%).

At least it looks and sounds cool. I don't really notice the exotic perks though
