Got an unbroken yesterday with it and got 45 kills on defender titan with it.
The gun is fine in the right hands. You need to land headshots and have the right positioning to be effective with it.

Exactly! Know how to how use. 3 shots is always enough if at least 1 is precision!

Because it's a good hand cannon. It just doesn't feel exotic with the perks it has, which is a major disappointment to the effort put forth to get it.

The perk with refilling the mag and getting better range and accuracy is a passive perk that isn't noticeable until you start getting more kills with it. It's perfect for people who push you after the first or second kill. It's a great perk. Year 2 they are attempting to make weapons not noticeably overpowered and have more passive perks. MIDA is a perfect example of how passive perks can make a weapons great.

I agree, passive perks are good-though MIDA is year 1-but TFC's perk is an activated one. If they did change it to a passive one, I'd love to see how that would handle.

It's a pretty great weapon, I just think it should be a more consistent 2 shot headshot kill. Fatebringer class handcannons are already a 3 shot kill and creating a weapon class that fires slower with the same shot/kill ratio seems redundant. The Hawkmoon has about a 42% chance to be a 2 shot headshot, and it fires faster. Yes, I know that the first curse can occasionally get 2 shot kills but that's only if the opponent has no armor, and how often is that?

Edited by Ankokuseibutsu: 3/13/2016 10:03:27 AMIt's about positioning yourself outside of eyasluna and fate bringer archetype range so you make them miss their inaccurate hand cannon shots while you land yours and ultimately win the incursion. Again, it comes back to positioning, cover, and movement. I use it with the bellicose or shade step to be able to juke and hover so they take time to readjust their reticle while I get the kill. Positioning, ranged engagement, and cover is key for success with first curse.
