With a quick, fluid motion, Cain thrusts the blade into Wilson's helmet, orange lights dancing with blue sparks as the programming turns up the brightness settings of your HUD to massive levels.

[i]He immediately grabs him, and lets loose a Tesla pulse, the energy of which was enough to short several of Cain's systems while at the same time disabling his own energy shielding. His gauntlet dagger erupting forth in a flash, e slammed the blade of pure energy into Cain's chest multiple times, the blade cutting through the metal and circuitry with ease. Sheer animalistic impulse overwhelmed him as he began ripping the robot's mechanical innards apart.[/i] YOU PIECE OF -blam!-ING TRASH I'M GONNA SCRAP YOUR ASS!

As the brightness begins to turn down again, you feel a sense of satisfaction run over you. One of your most hated enemies, now a pile of scrap... Oh, fuсk. In your hands is a large chunk of plastic alloy, silicon computer chips, and copper nanowire, ripped straight out of the server, as the sector's lights begin to flicker and the fire nozzles intermittently spout water to the tune of [b][i][HE'S GONE MAD, HE'S GONE MAD!!!][/i][/b] echoing from the hallway through the open sliding door.

[spoiler]It's not normal power armor. I've specified this before that Wilson's is upgraded with Venom technology. Even so, you could not evade someone so close that fast. It's impossible unless you can teleport.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Pushing off the blade plus the element of surprise, in addition to the fact you'd have to let go of the weapon you were holding or pull your arm back to grab him with either hand.[/spoiler]

Wilson hears a tiny ding on his helmet, and his head jerks the slightest bit to the right under the slight impact. He still can't see anything because of his malfunctioning HUD, but he can still hear Eric's cool voice pierce through his animalistic trance. "Wilson, that's enough. I'll handle him from here, you just go get your eyes checked out." He clearly didn't mean to hurt you; he had far larger and scarier guns at his disposal, but he sounded serious.

Eric sighs, and dejectedly sets to setting Task up against the wall so that he's more "comfortable". The damage is catastrophic, regardless, and he knows that purchasing the required exotic materials would be... costly. Still, the machine was his ally now, so he'd have to keep the complaining down to a minimum. He runs a diagnostic scan quickly, before cauterizing the leaking wounds with his combat knife. "Y'know, I figured that you'd go snooping around our stuff, but I didn't think that you'd actually try to defend yourself when we caught you. Maybe you aren't as intelligent as they said you were, picking a fight with Alex Wilson... So, what exactly do you need right now? Fixing an Ignus isn't exactly something I learned in the Academy."

[i][Nano-Atoms...][/i] His breathing steadies. [i][Atoms smaller than atoms, artificially shrunken down into compact form by scavenged Kol technology. Upon injury, they expand, exchange electrons, protons, and neutrons as demanded by the necessary materials, and close wounds in a matter of minutes. Their uses are endless... Microscopic data storage, hyper-dense materials... If I poured my guts into your hands, and I'd rather not, it'd slip through the atoms in your hand.][/i]

Eric picks him up in his arms fairly gently, and begins sprinting towards his ship, without jostling Cain overly much. He places him down on a seat near the cockpit, and straps him in, while activating the ship's systems. The cockpit vibrates as the ship leaves the hangar, but once it hits warp, the rest of the journey is smooth. He exits warp a few systems away, at random coordinates, just outside of an uninhabited solar system. The whole venture takes around five minutes, but certain precautions prevented any faster travel. "Alright, what now?@

[spoiler]I'm talking about the entire Infinity. Not just the Torch Hammer. If Cain isn't radioactive slag yet, then there's another Ignus in the proximity, meaning either the Ignus found Cain and a search party is en route, or something else is already aboard the ship.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Well, it's kinda unrealistic for an entire cruiser to enter warp for its former enemy, abandoning their mission to save him. It could be the harness that Eric is wearing. [/spoiler]
