Eric smiles to himself as he walks away. Undoubtably Cain thought that he was a blithering idiot, as he had heard how naively arrogant the Ambassador could be. As much as he'd like to think that Cain had turned over a new leaf, old habits died hard... So Eric was ready if he ever chose to betray his trust.
