There are hundreds of hostiles, both inside and outside of the base, all attacking without cohesion. Some of them rush into the base, while others pick off the soldiers who are trapped outside, and others still prowl the tree line. These things are clearly somewhat intelligent, and can somehow sense you without a nose or eyes. Two of the creatures leap onto the ship: one begins clawing at components, while the other screeches at you.
