Any weapon from trials that is in the same arctype as any other weapon from the game does better. Bungie has done something in secret to make sure trials weapons perform better even if it has the exact same skills and stats as another weapon so the sweats don't come crying to the forums claiming they aren't special snowflakes in a game mode that mediocre in competition at best.
