Wait what? Lol I can still use my eye of Osiris it's in the emblem storage. Are you asking can year 2 players earn it. If so year 2 has the scarab it's not exotic but that doesn't matter lol

I am asking for Y1 players who never had the time/or ability to go flawless in Y1 to have the opportunity to attain it in Y2

If you had the ability to go flawless but not the time, what the hell were you doing on every Friday to Monday without exception for 4 months straight? If you didn't have the ability to go flawless in Y1, chances are that you have an even lower likelihood of going flawless in Y2, you yourself admit that it's more difficult now.

I played a bit of Trials, but didn't have the interest to actually assemble a decent team, I just played casually with my mates. I was primarily playing Halo Master Chief Collection - I have gotten over 5000 Gamerscore out of 6000.

That doesn't mean you were incapable of playing Trials, you merely chose not to. There were more than enough opportunities for players capable of getting Eye of Osiris to actually get it, if you lacked the interest and desire to do so, that is no one's fault but your own.

If there was a Deadline - (aka Moments of Triumph ) I would of actually went for it, but there was no warning, Gone in an instant. Although I shouldn't be expected to spend my whole life on 1 game.

However, in the same vein as that, you can't expect to earn limited-time rewards if you didn't play when they were available. If you put it off for 4 months, you're to blame for not having it - you had enough time to get it, regardless of the nonexistence of a deadline. You wanted it and the fact that you don't have it is down to your previous actions, or lack thereof.

I went and done the Moments of Triumph cause Deadline, I would of done the same for Trials.

No [i]formally announced[/i] deadline. Common sense would have told you that the loot table would change with TTK, Trials included. As I keep saying, even if there was no deadline as you say, that didn't prevent you from playing when it was guaranteed to be around.

A Deadline would of encouraged me & other players to actually go for it - Just like the Triumphs.

If you wanted the emblem really badly, you shouldn't have needed a deadline to encourage you. If you need that deadline, you clearly didn't want it enough to deserve it.

Do you know how, when you play Destiny for a long period & get bored of it? I was in that Period, literally - the only reason i came back for awhile longer was due to the Moments if Triumphs. If you're completely sick of Destiny, Motivation, Reason is needed to get back on it.

its year 3 and i still want it mainly cuz I didnt find out about it till the end of year 2 and I wanted to try to collect every single exotic
