Counterbalance [b][i]would[/i][/b] help, it makes the recoil go vertical rather than the up and left. I have one, I know.
Also the Doctrine is the only auto that can get counterbalance and persistence.

But the arminius goes up and left and still goes up and left with counterbalance. Course it would help, my point was it won't help anywhere near as much as on the doctrine.

You might want to recheck Counterbalance. If a weapon has that perk it's a straight up recoil pattern. Arminius goes from an up and left pattern too a straight up pattern with Counterbalance.

No, it fights the recoil but it's not perfectly straight, it's better but not perfect.

Counterbalance causes the recoil pattern to be vertical. It helps more on weapons that have more lateral recoil.
