I apologize for ever defending Destiny. Don't get me wrong I love the game and its one of my all time favorite shooters but I always defended Bungie when people would say they game has so little content. I wont do it any longer. The amount of quests, lands to explore, social hubs, weapons, lore and customizations in ESO is amazing and they continue to pump content in at a rapid rate. Personally I don't see myself purchasing Destiny 2 unless they include at least year 1 and TTK amount of content for Destiny 2.
edit: if you only played the game for 3 hours or barely got to level 10 you really cant comment on ESO. sorry.
-
Eso's only issue with me is the extreeeemely clunky combat system and massive grind starting at VR levels
-
ESO is straight trash.
-
Eh I was very disappointed with that game
-
Its ok. The combat isn't much fun though.
-
I was disappointed to say the least. I failed to find a story to latch onto and follow
-
Eso is one big joke IMO That game I Gave a dull 2 weeks and said this is not elder scrolls this is some mutated wish it was elder scroll game And then never ro be played again sorry the game is lame and boring as -blam!-ing hell
-
ESO got real old real quick for me. It was just so poorly written. "Do a story mission with some blind dude that talks in riddles, then you have to wait 3 days for the next story mission by which time you've forgotten what the previous one was"

Edited by gilded_hotdog: 2/29/2016 3:10:17 AMCome back to me after you prestige or whatever it's called. It gets a bit grindy as well. I liked it but at one point I was mashing the buttons for dialogue. Like, I get it someone killed your husband and blah blah blah.....
-
Really? Playing that game with ps2 graphics and lagging everywhere you gave me aids.
-
Thank you for the apology. Now you know that destiny is in fact the worst game out there.
-
Edited by RagingPheonix00: 2/29/2016 3:09:51 AMTo Bad your not on Xbox One they have a game Neverwinter, a shit ton of content, endgame is immense. plus they upgrade the endgame to meet the next expansion instead of writing it off as old content.
not a console bash
-
>eso dungeon Wait hold up, just gonna hit 1h in a ods solo on warframe, juggernauts spawning like maggots out a brood mothers ass. That in itself tops the intensity of several mmo's ive played
-
Lol wow you're late. Picked that game up at launch, played it for 3 weeks, no longer own it.
-
Edited by Inclement Karma: 2/28/2016 8:51:20 PMESO is one of the worst games I've seen. It's like they took a single player game and decided to put a bunch of people in it with no thought whatsoever. Who wants to run a quest that's not even instanced, so there are 27 little children running around destroying any hint of atmosphere? Oh, and let's add proximity chat, too, in case you can't tell they're little children. What a disaster.
-
I got elder scrolls as well. And it really aint a fps game, so kinda hard to compare those two games. But ye that customize and all that landscape is huge! But tbh the landscape is too big, you end up spending too much "on the road" furthermore destiny is lightyears in front on all details, 100× more beatiful etc.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 2/29/2016 1:26:22 AMIf you have a PC do yourself a favor sell the console version and get it on the pc far superior, if not its still ok on console endgame pvp is fun
-
You have to think though, elder scrolls has been around for a really long time. Destiny is just about a year and half.
-
Get skyrim. It's more fun.
-
One quest had more story than destiny
-
Elder Scrolls is awful IMO. Can't get into it. The gameplay was very basic too.
-
Edited by Sixclicks: 2/28/2016 10:46:05 PMESO was an absolute terrible piece of shit for an MMO back when I played it at launch on PC. I was also in the closed beta. Maybe it's changed since then, but I can't believe how terrible it was back then. I don't think I could get into it because of that alone. I barely got back into Destiny after how bad its own launch was. ESO was way too basic for an MMO. The graphics and some of the story was good, but otherwise the gameplay and skill customization was terrible.
-
Edited by Executor Hideo: 2/28/2016 7:24:13 PMESO dissappointed me, but I guess it's my fault for wanting another good Elder Scrolls game... Fallout 4 kept up and surpassed my expectation for a Fallout game though... Bethesda doesn't dissappoint.
-
Only issue I've ever had with ESO is that quests are a little too repetetive (like most MMOs). Go here, kill this, collect 10 ____, talk to ____. But no one can complain about repetitive-ness after playinf Destiny.
-
This has nothing to do with defending bungie or destiny. If you like a different game there is nothing wrong or right to feel about it. Stop being silly
-
Your aren't wrong about the amount of content. To bad its content is boring and just as repetitive as destiny.
-
Guess you haven't played Skyrim. Rip
