Alright, if he had the trial mode of Destiny before, this may be the issue. Have your friend follow the steps here 1: Uninstall all Destiny content from his console 2: Clear the cache of his console after everything has been removed (this is important) How to clear cache: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539 3: Reinstall Destiny following this guide for the system he owns. Yes he deleted it, then he deleted the cache and activated the redeem code.
