Whats an African American...don't you guys just mean American. What if they're not from Africa? That's actually pretty racist assuming that you're from Africa just because you're black. I mean what if you're from Jamaica? You got black people there too >.>

Why don't we call Asians in America Asian American? Why don't we call Mexican people in the U. S. Mexican Americans? It seems confusing that we only call people who might not be from Africa African American.

Except no black people originated from Jamaica without coming there from Africa first.

All white people are Caucasians no matter where they are from. It's just a label.

It's simply a term to categorize their ethnic group. It's not racist in any way.

How is that racist? They have African heritage. The fact that Germans, Italians, Canadians, etc. are labeled as "white". It's ignoring our background. [spoiler]but I ain't even mad. It does not matter if they are black they are African American.. Side note I meet a white guy born in South Africa and move to the US when he was 23 and became a legal citizen. He had a black lady at a McDonalds about to beat his ass cause she asked him where he was from cause he had a weird accent. He told her he was from Africa and no shit she said your white your not from Africa. He said I'm an African American wtf are you cause your not from Africa. Anyways I thought it was funny.

Are you 6 years old? Asia is a continent, Ling Ling is from Asia, Ling Ling is Asian. "Aisian" is not a color.
