Who likes the idea of Destiny 2 being on the Xbox 360 and PS3? Or at least likes the idea of Xbox One and PS4 getting exclusive content? Sure, Xbox 360 and PS3 are old, but they can still be updated, I'm i right? I don't care if you give Xbox One and PS4 users all the new content. I only care if we all get some of the content. EDIT: Really? 20 votes even though I offered a solution to your content problem?! Guess our forums are pretty salty.

 • The issue really lies in RAM. Explanation of RAM in the spoiler tag for those who don't know.
R.A.M. Stands for random access memory which is a fancy way of saying how much your cpu/console can access at one time without overloading or shutting down. If I have a computer with lots of RAM I can have multiple games/videos/pages/whatever you desire going on at once whereas a computer with little RAM can't multitask to the same extent
Because old gen consoles have such little RAM they can barely handle the current games as is, which is why BLOPs 3 is multiplayer only on old gen. Old gen could barely handle the addition of vault space (it was a big deal when HoW dropped), so to include it in Destiny 2 would literally require a whole different team to ensure that the game was playable on old gen as well as content limitations. The game would barely be functional unless it was the exact same size as Destiny is now, which wouldn't be an improvement to the current condition of the game at all. Best case scenario for Bungie is that they cut ties with old gen and focus on new gen (which I'm 99% positive is what they will do). This would allow them to take larger strides and add more content without having to cater to a limited and dying generation of consoles. I played Xbox 360 until I updated to the Xbone very recently, and even while I was playing 360 I knew there was no chance of Destiny 2 being on old gen. If it is on old gen it will be a HUGE mistake by Bungie's part. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.
