Edited by SecretiveDuck: 2/25/2016 12:30:21 AMI did that earlier, it said it was a local network problem. There are no problems on my network. All ports that are listed on the website are forwarded to the correct ip, tried the wireless, wired, changed my router and modem. Connected the xbox directly to the modem and nothing solved it. I ran out of ideas.

Xbox Live's servers have been having serious issues for the past two days. I've experienced disconnects in both Destiny and Battlefield 4 constantly. Despite the XBL status page showing everything green, I'm still getting frequent disconnect from Destiny tonight. Check list is: Make certain you have an Open NAT, ports for Destiny and XBL forwarded through your router (I believe they are the same ports according to portforward.com), check your connection through the console to see if you're experiencing any packet loss, and the final step is to force a shutdown of the console through the settings (power mode must not be set to instant-on.) then unplug the power cord from the console for at least 5 mins to clear your console's cache. If this doesn't stop the disconnection I'm just going to find something else to do for the evening. Good luck.
