I don't think that the woman should be able to dictate the decision... What if the man wants to and is capable of raising the child on his own? Should that right be taken away from him? To me, it seems selfish for a woman to be able kill a soon to be human being, and get away without a trial. Smh at all the democrats and feminists...

I get where you are coming from and I agree. However both partners should have equal rights in that. For the guy wanting and the gal not wanting...TBH I can't think of a proper fix. So it's best left they way it is. As for the gal wanting and the guy not wanting to keep it. Easy fix if she decides to keep it it's on her own head. No begging for money from a guy who wants nothing to do with a child. It's really that simple.

Simple solution: don't have sex with a woman if your opinion on abortion differs to hers. That way you don't have to worry about whether or not she'll birth your child without your input.

The man isn't the one carrying around a living fetus in their stomach

Edited by Demagogue: 2/25/2016 3:33:22 AMSo... You're literally saying that men should have more rights than women... And yet, somehow, sexism doesn't exist and the feminists are wrong... This is a fine example of what Orwell called "doublethink".

Hey! Listen! It should be a decision between mother and father.

Well, the woman might not want to experience birth. It is extremely painful, after all.

As soon as science makes it possible for a man to carry a child then this wouldn't be an issue.. . Or even manage to completely incubate from day one. I think the farther can ask the mother to carry the child to term, but if she says no.. forcing her would be soo wrong. It's not like this is some small inconvenience.

Am I reading this correctly?! Men cannot and will not able to give birth
-
Not currently. One day they might be able to.
-
I imagine science will make it so that no one has to give birth rather than allowing men to do so.
-
Maybe.
