I'm pretty sure that Guardians don't actually die unless they are kill by the "darkness" or something. They are invincible, magic, wielding dudes. I like the Halo universe more but Guardians would win.[spoiler]Edit: People have been replying with some cool lore from Destiny. If only the story in the game was a little darker and had some of this cool, twisted lore involved the story would be way better.[/spoiler]

Guardians die. Many have died. Their ghosts can literally die by a bullet. It's actually written in some lore. There was actually a warlock that ended up killing her entire Fireteam for good. It's on one of the grimoire cards

Oh yes I remember now. And I agree. Actually I wish it had a story at all. It left so many unanswered questions and way to many plot holes it just threw me off so much.

The lore is actually really cool for the game but of they just included it a little more into the game it would be way way better.

Exactly. Destinys story is actually really cool they just didn't do a good job of telling it in the actual in game story. Like who is the stranger and who is she always taking to. I've asked this so many times and never found an answer. I hope they can out an actual good story in the next game.

They have made all this lore around her, if I remember right, that included moody Mcgee (queen's brother). They could make this game really cool and I have someone in my living space who wants to keep up with the game so I will get to keep playing the content. Because I see that potential, I'm not giving up on the game 100%. Bungie can do it and I really hope they do.

Petra is the representative for Queen's Wrath. During the Reef Wars she used her ship to kill a few Guardians with a missile/bomb.

My point is that they can make a really cool story with all this lore but they didn't involve enough of it in the main story. Someone in my living space is keeping up with the game so I will get to keep playing the content without buying it. I see the potential that but has with this story and because it is still there I will more or less stick around to see it out. Bungie can do it and I hope that they do.

Maybe I would actually care about the character if they even just said "be careful, she killed nine guardians during the blah blah blah." Some emotion from your character would be nice also. Who am I kidding, this will never happen.

If only blizzard made destiny. It would be nice their and the story would be amazing.

I don't even need that. If only their story was a bit darker and Bungie included some of this cool twisted lore into their actual story in the game it would be so much better.

This game was too big for bungie. Blizzard would of done a great job. Great lore and in game story. Hell we would of had seven raids with in destiny and the 20 expansion would have two raids and brand new locations

That would be awesome. I did play, unfortunately, taken king and I can say that it was a step up from vanilla but it still wasn't anywhere close to what I want. Anyways, someone in my house wants to keep up with Destiny so I will get to keep playing the content without paying for it. Who knows, maybe one day bungie will get it right any they will make a great expansion, maybe.

Or blizzard comes over slaps bungie in the ass and show them how to do shit. Then once destiny 2 comes out with blizzard watching over. It will be the half life 2 of this gaming
