Snark's Fantastic Fanfic Feedback Forum

Hello fellow readers! It's come to my attention that I might be "pulling a Bungie" with my writing. "What is pulling a Bungie?" you ask? Aha, well. Some of my readers miss the old times of my writing, you know, before I made changes trying to enhance it, when I probably made it a wee bit not-so-good, ehe. I've lost some readers over many things, and I plan to fix those many things before I lose any more in the long run. Rest assured I plan to change all that and give you guys the enjoyment you guys had when reading my stories before.
That's why this post is here, heh.
Before I continue I'd like to answer a couple of questions, though.
Question: Snark, why did you change the writing style?
An excellent question! I thought it was in my (and others) that I added a bit more detail to my work. The feedback for the writing style change was overall positive, soooo it stuck, ehe.
Question: Why so many Intermissions?
I'd have to say this part is my fault. My first Intermission about Rush, Hunter (and the Titan and Warlock with the bubble mishap) was when I finally was able to fix my game console's charger, I decided to entertain ya'll a bit. Sure, I ended that Intermission speedy quick Then I got carried away afterwards. With the whole Markus and Cosm0 Intermission... I'm sure you guys are aware of my newer Create-a-Guardian, right? The whole purpose of that one's creation was because I felt extremely bad that I couldn't finish the others on the old one (people definitely brought this issue to my attention), and the fact that it was extremely cluttered made it worse, blegh.
Question: Snark, why has it been so long since you've posted a Take?
This one upsets me as well. I used to be able to post Take at an extremely fast pace, but lately I haven't because Snark has new responsibilities that require more of my attention. But hopefully I can get back into the groove with this soon.
Question: Why do you want feedback/criticism?
I enjoy criticism to the highest degree, it'll only help me get better with my writing and stay focused on the task at hand with it. If you liked something I used to do, please, say so! My only purpose is to entertain my lovely readers! If you have any ideas on how I can make anything better, again, please say so! Do not hesitate to say anything, I'm here to listen to you guys!

 • I think you've been doing great. Writing isn't easy. I tried writing my own short stories myself when I was in high school. It went smoothly at first, but the more I wrote, the more writers block I would experience. Eventually I just lost my touch. But that's only because I allowed it to happen. I stopped writing about things I was interested in and enjoyed, and started writing with ideas from my friends and girlfriends. You have to be passionate about what you are writing if you want to be successful. I've read a lot of fanfic on these forums, but I definitely appreciate your work the most. From the beginning, I've felt that you were very passionate and enthusiastic about it. But more recently it just seems that you feel forced to write these takes rather than doing it because you want too. Take your time! If you need a break, then take a break. Or if you are confident, then keep on rolling with the flow. Either way, like I've said many times, I enjoy your writing.
