I find that an ironic thing to say, because it's exactly the precursors whom we don't have exact stats/information on when it comes to Halo. Furthermore, I'd simply say that guardians, even if unable to stat-for-stat equal spartans, have many advantages that spartans don't have, and that's not to mention the rest of the UNSC/Covenant infantry.
