Halo universe vs the Destiny universe
Who do you think would win in this epic battle between both of these legendary universes?

1 ReplyThis thread has been made so many times. I'm going to say halo for now becuase we know so little about the destiny universe. For all we know the vex could rule millions of dimensions and this is just another one they are taking over. But the hive are pretty OP to. They've killed civilizations that are on par with the covenant or maybe the forerunners.

11 Repliesthese make sad :( its all opinion I know really nothing about halo. yes ive played halo reach and 3 with at a friends house. but he liked to skip all cut scenes so I got nothing from the story. all I really remember is being shouted at for playing the game wrong apparently(he died a lot :/). multiplayer was ok. on the on the other hand destiny for me is much more fun. while there's no denying that it is really is not a challenge. For the first time in ages It felt like a breath of fresh air and there was a lot of enjoyment to be had.(although for the longest time I wandered why the moon was soo close to earth :[ ) this game to me had soo meny things that wowed me. supers, weapons that did different things and cool si fi looking enemies. however this doesn't mean that I deny ANY of the multitude of problems. I just happen to find this game more fun than other 1st person shooter. [spoiler]on topic of discussion. the two meet become instant allies and save the universe together.[/spoiler] meh fighting dumb because this only really relies on someone's bias. its obvious everyone who played halo and loved it, will be instant one sided and no thought put into there comp----oh wait they never existed to them anyway.....

15 RepliesTo be clear, I'm doing the Last City vs the UNSC The last city has several advantages: Incredibly mobile forces, semi-invincible troops, and space magic. However, those are their only advantages. The UNSC fleet far outnumbers the Last City and has far superior weaponry. There are far more soldiers in the UNSC that the Last City Despite what many think, darkness doesn't kill guardians, at least as far as I can tell. It prevents their ghosts from reviving them. Also, to revive a guardian, a ghost must materialize and stay still for several seconds. This would be more than enough time for any Spartan to shoot and destroy the ghost. However, if you are pro Destiny, you may think Guardians can beat Spartans anyways, so the Spartans would get good enough chances to kill ghosts. Spartans have better shields, and similarly powerful weaponry. They are faster, smarter, and stronger. They are also better at fighting tactically and adapting to situations, while guardians tend to rely on revives. Despite the advantage of space magic, most supers would very little offensive capabilities. Golden Gun would be very good, and so would Titan bubble, and self res would totally throw off a spartan. However, the rest are either too slow or only good in close quarters. Not to mention most guardians wouldn't have time to use their supers, because they need kills to use their supers. Basically it's a silly question, because the Last City would get screwed.

Guardians are pretty much immortal and with out the Halo universe having any "darkness", there is no reason for the Guardians to be worried. Not to mention the amount of power they have at thier figure tips, with unlimited supers, gernades, and special melee abilities. Also the Last City has perfected slip space movement, being able to travel across half of a solar system in mere seconds, the UNSC has this ability as well but it it not as quick and effective.

If we're talking entire universes then destiny definitely but a lot of the counterparts in Halo would win 1v1, a lot of enemies in destiny are toned down from what they are depicted as in lore.

Halo because guardians dont have to rely on a good weapon to combat the spartans. The spartans can use the halo 1 pistol and kill every single guardian without any worries.
