I'll be honest, I don't like or get poetry, but from the few lines I could decipher, it seems like you're having. tough time. Well, me too. Hug?
English

Aside from being house-ridden from illness for two weeks or so, i've been doing okay. I just had a lot on my mind last night is all. I'll take the hug, though. *hugs you* What's been troubling you, friend?
-
Not sure, life I guess
-
Well, isolating a cause often helps. If you'd rather not talk about it, I understand, but i'm always an open line to anyone who needs to vent about something.
-
Ah, well thank you! I've been doing pretty well for the past few months. I've been living with depression all my life, that's about it I guess. Everything else that happens to me is just exacerbated by the depression, you feel?
-
Aye, there's only so much escaping that. I was never formally diagnosed, but in as humble a manner as I can relay it, I feel that I may have dealt with it through the majority of my younger years. I never really had a "bad" life growing up, I was grateful for that, but I still always felt like everything I could get pleasure from was overshadowed by doubt, fear, and emptiness. I've been told that's sort of what it feels like, but I know it varies between people who have it.
-
Same here. Honestly, for something like depression, you don't need a diagnosis - don't waste your money and time. If you feel like you described, that's depression
-
Well, I wouldn't say professional help is always a waste of money or time, just depends on who you are. Some people thrive in that sort of environment, while others don't respond very well at all. Personally, what helped me was finding someone I felt capable of truly opening up to, and gradually that helped me further open up the other people in my life, as well as the world around me. However, there's no cure all. People find different ways. For what it's worth, I do hope you find yours, and i'm glad to hear you've been doing well lately.
-
Thank you. For me it's just working out, exercising, being in nature, and reading and writing. Great way to relieve stress and negative emotions
-
I can agree on all of those. I'm actually a bit out of practice with my exercise, since I haven't been able to do it lately.
-
Oh why not?
-
Illness, same reason i've been stuck around the house. Two weeks with bronchitis, then I got stuck with a viral rash and fever right after recovering from that.
-
Oh I'm sorry about that! Always sucks. Stay hydrated I guess. If you get bored around the house you can always talk to me :)
-
You've been an excellent conversational partner so far, thanks for that. I'll definitely keep it in mind.
-
No problem - and the same can be said about you. Hard to find someone willing to just talk to these days
