1 ReplyTo be specific, our species of human originated in southern Africa. Slavery has always been a common human practice throughout history. So technically, the first ever slave owner was probably black.

2 RepliesThe black history month and shaming of anyone for past events is stupid. We should be aware of these things, and acknowledge they happened. But no one who wasn't directly involved should be shamed for it.

Just a reminder. Since Obama's father was from Kenya, his ancestors were not slaves, but they probably were slave traders.

The Muslim slave trade lasted 1400 years and Atlantic slave trade lasted 200, only about 6% of which were sent to the British colonies and Muslim slave trade was much more brutal. But black people don't resent Muslims... Don't know about anyone else but it pretty much deems any Oppression from slavery arguments irrelevant, and technically... White men freed the slaves... Not black men or women... But as usual, facts will piss off liberals.

COuple that with the fact a very large portion of todays americans ancestors immigrated to the US AFTER slavery was abolished you can deduce that pretty much none of us Whites had anything to do with slavery yet we all get blamed for it Thats BS
