Oh my god, so much this. I don't like to hate on them, but dear god they done goofed. I remember them stating that when they play tested for the most recent weapon patch, that Hawkmoon was being used over every other Hand Cannon. Clearly they did not use Thorn or The Last Word. Like, it is so obvious! Thorn>Hawkmoon at range, and TLW>Hawkmoon at cqc. Honestly The First Curse is just a train wreck so they shouldn't even consider it when balancing Hand Cannons. It's too slow to ever be the "best" Hand Cannon option.
