Hawkmoon definitely needs a stability increase to offset that range reduction. Hand cannons in general need more accuracy when rapidly firing within their intended range and the hit detection needs to be improved.
They also need to find a way to differentiate the dmg difference between different hand cannon archetypes. They all roughly kill in the same number of shots.

I agree. Pretty much every handcannon is a three shot kill (excluding Hawkmoon with lucky bullet).

Including hawkmoons litc it only 2 shots low armored enemy's or already weakened
