I now realize...

TL;DR I got bored and played the Halo:CE campaign on legendary, solo. It made me realize that PvE in Destiny could be wonderful. PvE can be a awesome thing. Just not in Destiny. Now then, buckle up and get ready for how I realized PvE could be dope. So, my brother took the Xbox, and I couldn't play Destiny. So, I went to my OG Xbox and blew off the dust. After a few minutes coughing, I turned it on. I played whatever was in there. It happened to be Halo:CE. Ah, nostalgia. Anyway, I made a new profile and started up a solo campaign on legendary, I figured "Whatever, it can't be too bad." Oh god, was I wrong. Those first 3 grunts after you get your gun from Captain Keys almost killed me. 8 Marines couldn't take down a single blue elite. It was at this moment I realized I needed my tryhard pants. I restarted from my last checkpoint after the blue elite killed me. I then proceeded to remember how to become the Alien Slaying God, the Master Chief. I shot three shots into three grunts. Only headshots. Otherwise, I'd revert because I've already failed. I walked into the room and immediately killed one of the Marines. I used his grenades to slay the blue elite and traded my assault Rifle for his plasma Rifle. I continued to play, to fail, and to try and try and try and try and try. After 4 hours I finally finished the first level. I had to get nothing but headshots on the grunts, and when I encountered elites I had to have perfect aim with my sticky nades. If I didn't have any I would have to pop their shield's with a plasma Rifle/pistol and quickly get a headshot with my pistol. If I failed to do any of those things, I'd die and start over from my checkpoint. Over the weekend, I proceeded to play through the campaign. I finally finished the game, exhausted from only 8 hours of sleep total. I watched as Bungie teased me in the final cutscene, where they almost showed the face of Master Chief. I watched Sergeant Johnson hug the Elite as the Halo was shattered. After that, for shits and giggles and played the first mission on easy. I left a wake of alien bodies, and Elites ran from me. I had a blast, and I will share my tips for doing this if you wish, just leave a comment asking. Now, when I finally went back to Destiny on the next weekend, I solo'd the nightfall. It felt like when I played the first mission on easy. I realized PvE in Destiny sucks, and found myself going back to Halo for my PvE fix. I'm currently working on the Halo 2 campaign on legendary solo. Halo was made by Bungie too, so why is Destiny's PvE content so lack luster? I never liked PvE in Destiny, but I see now that it could be amazing. Please discuss your opinions. • The problem is, first off, Activision. All year one content was supposed to be a single game, no DLC. Activision pretty much chopped it up. Next, there's that people were fired before Destiny's release. One caused them to need to cut the story line. From what I've heard, originally, the three races each had their own story line, and the one we're stuck with is the Exo. If someone hadn't been too trigger happy, we'd have a great game.
