Bernie wants to make all the illegals in the country a citizen, ban automatic and semi-automatic weapons on top of buffing up background checks, wants to make college free and without tuition, wants to tax rich people even more because they worked hard and got rich, raise taxes in general, tax carbon emission, and "demilitarize" our police force, which isn't even military-like in the first place. I would pick a Trump any day over this guy.

Are...are you serious? This is supposed to be a joke right? Yes, making AR's illegal is a debatable one. But free colleges? Oh yeah what kind of dystopic society would give everyone the same chance to get an education. Ugh the thought makes me shudder. It's basically anarchy. Taxing the rich people more? How dare he! Doesn't he see that a Millionaire is hit just as hard when he only has 1million left at the end of a month instead of 2, as a normal guy that pays 1200 in taxes out of 3000 earned!?!?

Bolt action rifles and lever action weapons will still be legal, since those are the most common weapon for hunting. Then, there would be beefed up background checks for those.

There is a one in millions chance to win a lottery enough to be rich, and it can be split with other people. Most "rich" people you see earned their right to a better lifestyle, whether it be doctors, business tycoons, musicians, or investor. Some rich people may have gone to college and had wealthier parents to give them a kick start, or may have been dirt poor and only a high school education. Everyone has an equal chance of being successful, why overtax the people who are?

And because some people have more money, whether it's inherited or earned, they should be taxed a huge margin more than everyone else? If I was making a million dollars a year because I worked my ass off, and I have to pay an income tax of 40 percent, which is almost half my goddamn income, I would be pretty upset. I have no problem paying taxes. The government needs money. But giving the government so much money doesn't help their spending issue.

Notice that 90% of Americans will pay about half of what they do currently for healthcare, and every single American gets coverage. Also, please read this tax foundation chart that shows a top marginal tax of 91% on earnings over $200,000 from 1942-1963, and then a 70% top marginal rate on earnings over $200,000 from 1964-1982 which is when Reagan et al lowered it to 50% on earnings over $81,000, [b]a significantly more progressive tax rate than what Bernie is proposing. Those are separate issues that you are combining. No one wants to pay any taxes if they are wasted. Spend them efficiently and with visible results & people will be more willing to pay them
