Yes "earn" loot. When you do any activity you will be granted something. Hence you earned it.

A lot of high end loot relies on random drops, the opposite of earning.

Edited by Bukshot101: 2/6/2016 7:37:06 PMI do get what you are saying though it seems in Year two we are given what we want instead of earning it. Year one in that sense was better. I felt good about every weapon I earned since it took a while to achieve what I wanted. I am not trying to argue with you on this, but you do bring up a valid point ;)

It's the same thing as in year one though. I had all year1 exotics except the ps exclusives and I only felt like I earned the exotics I got through exotic bounties.

Anything you are randomly given by doing something is earning. When you do anything in Destiny you are always earning stuff for playing say The Daily playlist or for doing anything in the game period. Every time you play the game you are earning something whether you agree with it or not.

It's true. If you were in Destiny and you got loot, you would be happy because that thing that you did to get the loot which means you earned it. Even if you didn't work hard to earn it, you still earned it. You should be happy with what you earn. If you weren't, then Destiny wouldn't be Destiny. It wouldn't be fun to play. If any game did that, games wouldn't be the way they are. This is why Bukshot posted this. So people won't be thick headed igits. They won't whine about anything. It's a game, so why would it matter. Once again, a game wouldn't be a game without people having fun and earning things.
