Quit AC after ACBF which I think was the pinnacle for this franchise. Also, killing Desmond completely turned me off of the franchise.
Played every AC up to ACBF, Desmond was a character I think everyone grew to like and expected to continually be a part of this series as it's his bloodline. Just my opinion.

Personally I hated Desmond.

Everyone has their opinion on it. For me, I enjoyed the relationship between the story and Desmond's bloodline and the journey of exploring it through Desmond's character. It's cool that they gave closure with the story and his death but I just can't understand why that choice was made. Idk, I guess all things must move forward.

Oh I'll admit the ending of his story felt half baked for sure. Doesn't change my hate and even with a better closure I'd probably still feel the same.
