Looking at thousand yard stare - it's all repainted with vanguard colors and there's no hint as to which company made the original rifle (the one vanguard picked up and modified to rename it 1000-yard stare, and repaint it). But then there is the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Armory/Detail?type=item&item=2580843731&itemname=SUROS%20JLL-19]SUROS JLL-19[/url], a sniper rifle obviously made by suros. A sniper rifle with the same frame, stock, barrel, and everything - as 1000 yard stare. The rifle vanguard used to make 1k stare from via modifications - is a Suros sniper. Granted the JLL-19 and 1kS are different archetypes, but still made by the same company. There really should be the original, legendary, 19 rate of fire and 31 impact (19/31 archetype), Suros sniper rifle in the armsday rotation. Granted, given suros' weapon naming methods it'd likely be named: Suros <lettter><letter><letter> <dash> <digit><digit> instead of "Original Legendary 19/31 Suros Sniper Rifle" lol. And it would perhaps have slightly different stats than 1000-Yard Stare (the vanguard modified version)... maybe a little faster reload with a little less range, and an at least slightly different AA/TA value... several things could be slightly different than 1kS to keep with the whole vanguard modded sniper is a modded sniper. TL;DR version: We have the base versions of the vanity, apple of discord, answering chord, hawksaw, vertigo, and many others.... why not have the base version of 1000-yard stare available from the Suros foundry via the gunsmith & armsday?
