Also... If you are still working on the ability kills, use the sword. AVOID HEAVY AMMO while doing this. Equip your legendary sword and pull guard with it until you are only holding the hilt. Run around bashing heads with the hilt. Unless Bungie patched it after I did all three of mine this way, hilt kills count towards ability kills. It's been quite a while since I did these, but I would assume you should also have the matching subclass rolling for this. Solar Sword, Solar subclass... Arc Sword, Arc subclass... Void Sword, Void subclass.
