Any other solos out there actually enjoying iron rift
So I booted up destiny an hopped on into what I thought was gonna be lag spawn kill fest 2016. And other then a few rough matches I've been blown away by how much fun I've been having. Haven't been running a good kd, but I've been just annoying the hell out of the other team with shade step and my iron wreath. And it's been a blast. So color me surprised bungie good job this time

I played for a little bit last night and had good luck. Got to level two and got off. It seems smoother than last time. Not as much lag

Nope. It's a shit fest that caters to 6 man fireteams, not 6 randoms thrown together.

2 RepliesLoving it. IB Rift is in your face game play. All the people that is unhappy, bickering, complaining and salty are the snipers and HC players. Suck it up and deal with it. Get out of your comfort zone do some running and gunning.

I love Rift, solo or not, but I can understand why people hate it. Playing with people who either can't grab the spark, cover the spark carrier or wait for teammates to clear the path for the carrier is quite infuriating!

It's been real hit or miss for me. I came in expecting the worst but it's not as bad as I thought. Your definitely at a large disadvantage being solo against a 6 man team for the simple fact of call outs.

I only played one game solo yesterday before the invites from people, IMO it was great! I ran into no lag and good gameplay. I was very very hesitant to Rift for IB.... but honestly, it is a blast and even better with friends.

Been running solo and LOVING rift, if my team knows what they're a doing I can just support and defend the runner, and if they don't? I just grab the spark and run it myself. Yeah there are blowouts, just like [i]any[/i] IB, but they're over quick so you can hop right back in. Honestly it never feels as hopeless as control does when you're stuck in an unwinnable game for 15 minutes, and unlike some other 6V6 modes, a single player can put up 4000-5000 points in a game in rift and really contribute. It's rough defending without having team mates to tell you where the runner is coming from, but the other team has the same issue, so it's no big deal, you just gotta make sure you get that spark! Overall IB rift is a huge success in my mind, and I'll be happy to see it roll around again in another 4 months.

I've been loving this IB, had a good few matches where the mercy rule has been applied because we've topped the other team straight away. I've been manning my bladedancer with maxed agility, radiant dance machines and MIDA... ALL THE AGILITY These bitches can't touch me I'm too fast!

I play all pvp solo every time so to me its really nothing new. Im taking this IB to try and do the jolly holiday quest. Rift for IB isnt that bad but it seems to favor arc hunters.

It was actually pretty fun until I get put on a team with people who don't understand how to play the objective.

5 RepliesOkay - in all honesty I'm sitting with five medallions that I'll be happy to dump - but it has been fun nonetheless. Don't really care about the scout, but that fusion rifle with a great roll looks like fun.

I have soloed my past games in rift. Yea you lose some and you win some but in the end who cares. Although i believe titans who can titan skate have an easier time soloing.

Hit rank 5 on my Warlock last night mostly playing solo. It has been a lot of fun. I much prefer these objective based games rather than just running around shooting. I'll admit it is easier with a team but still totally doable as a solo player.
