I know this might be hard to explain, but there is a thing called information bias. Which basically means some people don't know midas is crazy stable, has excellent perks and works for a wide range of playstyle. By you posting this you actually propagate the information and encourage others to use it. As Midas is obtainable and you seem to think it is great, then use it. The truth is, Destiny's pvp is balanced through sub classes of weapons (like assault rifles that fire crazy fast, medium and scout rifle slow) those base attributes are then enhanced by perks. The advantage of vendor bought or exotic items is the perks are static and you are not rnging for it. Because Destiny's PVP encounter, like all pvp encounters, is primarily a burst damage check, stability perks that destabilise your opponent are top. Mida has stability, medium/far range, steady fire rate and rounds that make it harder for you to be hit. It hits like garbage, but is easy to use. Favors medium range conflicts. So, I mean it is just a gun with attributes. The hawkmoon has attributes too that are similar, in its own niche.

  • The info any gun is already out there if someone really cares to learn theres whole websites for that idt I'm propagating anything. I'm just trying to voice my opinion to hopefully further improve the state of the crucible so more gun choices are viable.hawkmoon at least has a drawback that it's not very useful at long range and being a hc it has dmg falloff. I understand what you're saying tho thanks for the reply.
