Me and two others were in trials and we're not bad but not great either, all floating in and out of gold elo.
We got hammered one match and we thought we'd check one of their elos, diamond league! The sbmm either doesn't exist or is flawed

Isn't it about how many wins each team on their passage has not skilled

Yes you are right it is about wins, not SBMM, which is why at the moment it is less stressful to play in ToO.
