Your stats say that you're just about on the edge of the group of players least affected by SBMM. Say you have a 1.0 K/D, for example. There will be a large amount of other players with a 1.0, or at least large compared to those with say a 2.0. That means that you will have little trouble in finding a match as there are more players at your level. Go further up the scale to 1.5-1.7. Suddenly, you've gone from top 50-60% to top 5%. Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway) that there are less players at that level therefore it takes longer to find a match. As the search goes on, the bracket of players you can face widens to the point where you'll be facing 2.0+ players simply because they're available. Your point is that the lesser players don't want to be crushed by those better than them. Why is it the case that the better players must be crushed by their superiors, match after match? I don't want to go into Crucible for a bit of "fun", only to be faced with full teams of tryhards that I would never beat under any foreseeable circumstances.
