Selling silver is all Bungie cares about now. How can anyone even argue with that at this point? Even the whole SBMM thing. Even that was likely implemented in anticipation of the microtransactions being put in the game. Separate the experienced long time players from going up against new players (aka new credit cards) in crucible. Bungie doesn't, and didn't care at all about the hit connections would be taking due to SBMM. Happy new players means new credit cards that will be used to buy millions in silver during the mothers day event, at the fathers day event, and the Groundhog Day event ect. Why would they bother releasing quality DLC's at this point? Or even raids? They make millions off dance emotes, masks, and sparrows.
