I don't think I'm understanding this right, so if someone would be so kind to spend a minute clarifying me this I would be really grateful.
What I mean is that from my point of view there is a very large players base that benefits from SBMM, and it's the medium-low average skilled players.
With SBMM a player of that type will have a chance to win a match most of the times because he will encounter adversaries at the same skill level.
Without SBMM the high skill player base would simply roule the game because as far as I know:
A. Full teams of high skilled players going in crucible together will always win because it's unlikely that they would be matched against a high skill team of random players
B. Solo high skill players will win most of the times because the vast majority of the players base is medium-low and in Destiny a single player can always make a difference.
C. Because of A and B, for medium-low skilled players crucible will be a frustrating experience most of the times.
From my point of view not having SBMM will advantage only high skill players which is the minority of player base. And this cannot be the goal of any developer.
Since everybody seems to disagree I'm sure I'm missing something...
Unless forums are filled only of high skill players...
