Now I counter myself. As of reading more lore, I have found that Oryx took his throne realm and inverted it to the point he fused it with his dreadnaught. How this was possible, I'm not sure. The dreadnaught was make from the fallen Akka. Maybe Akka's body was able to withstand a throne room being held in himself. Not the point. Since the dreadnaught is Oryx's throne realm he's able to manipulate it in multiple ways. I said earlier that Ir Halak and her other sister were not able to use the song with OP's theory but I may have foun a way to counter it. The Oculus's. They may be Oryx's rendition of oversouls. They have similar characteristics of the oversouls but being inverted they are able to exist in our worlds. He can also use them in his dreadnaught. The deathsingers may use these for their songs and have their brands as additional protection. I don't know. Theories and lore is fun to argue with.

Oryx killed the worm god Akka to gain the secrets he needed to save the Hive from a losing war and to commune directly with the Deep (AKA Darkness). He wrote the secrets on a set of tablets he then called the Tablets of Ruin, and used the secrets to go to the Darkness, and came back with the power of Taking. Anyway, it was the same secrets on the Tablets of Ruin he used t move his throne world to physical reality. What is written on those tablets is the highest levels of magic ever known by the Hive.
When Oryx had built his Dreadnaught, he pushed his throne world inside out, so that it bled into the material space of the Dreadnaught. They were coterminous and allied, his ship and his sin. The Dreadnaught was within the throne of Oryx, but the throne of Oryx was the Dreadnaught. Aiat! This required a verse from the Tablets of Ruin. The whole Court worked together to push Oryx’s throne inside out. This was a day of joyous violence, and all of Oryx’s broods mark this holiday as Eversion Day, which is celebrated by turning things inside out. (Verse 4:11 — Dreadnaught)
The Warpriest's card confirms that the Oculus is really an oversoul made in the style of Crota's, and even though the Dreadnaught exists in physical space, the interior of the Dreadnaught is really a throne world, so it makes sense that the Oculus (really an oversoul) can exist in it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Warpriest's has less functionality though.
From mighty Crota, Son of Navigation, Sword of Pits, He learned to make his Oversoul (The Warpriest)
Interesting theory about the deathsingers using them. I like your comment.

Really cool ideas! I like the idea that Oryx holds his throne world in the body of Akka. It reminds me of the ancient Babylonian creation myth, in which the great Tiamat (goddess of the oceans/salt water) holds the other gods within her body, and when she is slain by Marduk in cosmic battle, he forms the world as we know it out of Tiamat's body, and enslaves all of creation to do his will (explaining the establishment of economies and the necessity of labor to survive). Do you know how Akka died? I have no idea, but I'm interested.

On this webpage, read XXVI: star by star by star, and XXVIII: King of Shapes. Essentially what happens is that Oryx and his two sisters are losing in a cosmic war against a superior civilization, and they're hiding in Oryx's throne world to come up with the plan. Making matters worse, they can't kill enough to keep their worm symbiotes satisfied, and if they don't feed their worms through killing, it's they that will be killed. The sisters allow Oryx to kill them so that Oryx can gain the killing logic (proof that he is worthy) to gain an audience with the worm god Akka, and the sword logic (power gained from kills) to actually defeat Akka. Oryx killed Akka, and from the pieces of Akka, he fund the secrets he needed to once again save the his people from extinction.
“How will we feed our worms?” Xivu Arath asks. “I know,” says cunning Savathûn. “I know a way. But it won’t work unless we are killing the Ecumene by the billions. How can we beat them?” “If we cannot beat their strengths,” says Xivu Arath, “we must infect their weaknesses. But they are lords of matter and physical law.” “I know a way,” King Auryx says. “But it will require great power. More power than any one of us can claim.” “Then kill me,” says Xivu Arath, “and use that killing logic, the power you prove by killing something as mighty as me.” So King Auryx took up his blade and beheaded Xivu Arath. “And strangle me,” says Savathûn, holding a blade behind her back. “Use that killing logic, the cunning you prove by killing something as smart as me.” But King Auryx turned with the speed and might of Xivu Arath, and beheaded Savathûn before she could move. King Auryx was the First Navigator, with the map of death. (Verse 3:6 — star by star by star)

“Akka my God, Worm of Secrets. I am Auryx, sole king of the Hive. I have come to receive a secret. I want the secret power of the Deep, which you hold.” “I give no secrets,” said Akka, whose voice was code. “No,” said Auryx, “you give nothing. Giving is for the Sky. You worship the Deep, which asks that we take what we need.” Akka said nothing, because if it denied this truth, the truth might become false. “But you gave us your larvae, the worm,” said Auryx, “and that is why the worm devours us now: because it was given, not taken. So I must take what I need from you, although you are my god.” Said Akka, “You have not the strength.” But this was a lie. Auryx had killed Savathûn his sibling and Xivu Arath his sibling, and he had the sword logic of killing them. Auryx the First Navigator set upon his god with his sword and his words, and cut Akka to pieces, and took from those pieces the secret of calling upon the Deep. He wrote this secret on a set of tablets, which he called the Tablets of Ruin. And he wore them about his waist. Then Auryx said, “Now I may speak to the Deep, the beautiful final shape. I will be King of Shapes. I will learn all the secrets of our destiny.” His speech to the Deep is not recorded here. But it is known that he returned, and he said, now I am Oryx, the Taken King. And I have the power to take life and make it my own. Then he went out into the universe, and fought the Ecumene with his Tablets. And the Worm his God was pleased. (Verse 3:8 — King of Shapes)
• Awesome, thanks for digging that up for me. Destiny's lore is way too cool. It really puts the missions and quest lines in perspective.
