Should console exclusivity be stopped?

Just imagine how much more united and happy the gaming community would be if we could have all of the same stuff at the same time. Playstation users get Halo, Xbox users get the timed COD and Destiny exclusives, Titanfall appears on Playstation, Xbox gets Until Dawn as well, think about it, everyone's happy. Because honestly, these exclusives do little more than simply slap the competition's users in the face, rarely people will change consoles for a few months of early access, or getting a single game on a different system. http://youtu.be/hCcTYhOVDec This guy argued good points against timed exclusivity deals, I'm more neutral on console exclusive games but I am completely against timed exclusives that benefit nobody.

it depends. in the case of titanfall, it's okay. it's an exclusive because Microsoft gave them money to actually create and launch the game. but things like timed exclusive just cause chaos between consoles. to be honest, most people think video games are stupid. I'd rather unite the entire gaming community then have all of the consoles fighting over who's better. console exclusives are meant to give the console some incentive. timed exclusives are meant to hurt the other consoles user base. there is no need for timed exclusives.
