Sols, you seem like a reasonably intelligent guy. Why are you still wasting your time writing these novels over a garbage ass game?? I'm not saying what you're talking about isn't intelligent or insightful, it's just....this game is stagnant. And all you have been writing over the past year has fallen on deaf ears (as it relates to the developers). It's more than clear that Bungie is going to make the game THEY want, not what the players want. If they did, they would have fixed it for real a long time ago.

  • I don't know if this is the case for Sols, and very likely it's not, but as one of those crazy people who keeps trying to get through to Bungie, let me give you my two cents to try to give you an idea of what motivates me. I fell in love with Destiny from the first time I played it. It was beautiful! The cinematics, the music, the mystery, even the story (in the very beginning) was mesmerizing. The gameplay, gunplay, motion mechanics (with the exception of the sprint cooldown) were all excellent. I was terrified and captivated at the same time. I played the shit out of this game. Went from PS4 to Xbox 360 to Xbox One and ramped up 8 characters over 11 months. The story had holes, but in the beginning that made sense. You've been dead for hundreds of years! The concept of a ten year evolution of this game was awesome. A continuing story, more cool stuff to find and do, progressing more and more toward Legend. But the holes in the story never got filled. The game itself kept being diminished by the very people who should be making it great. For people like me, who recognize the potential that this game has, the epic storyline that could be, it's hard to just let go. I know there will be further developments to the game. What, is still to be revealed. It could be solid gold, or it could be a lump of shit. In the beginning, I expected those developments to be amazing. I hoped for an incredible, immersive universe, in which I was free to wander and discover, while playing that key role of Guardian through the entire epic story. The reason I post these crazy posts, trying to get through to Bungie? I still do.
