This week's Trials map is unbalanced

I'm not the type to complain about Trials but Blind Watch is ridiculous. Been playing Trials almost every weekend since May and all the maps have at least some way to flank. But on this map, if you spawn on Alpha(top side) your advantage goes up much more than it should be. I mean yeah, there'll be teams that will destroy unskilled kids no matter what side but when you're going against a competent team, you're at a major disadvantage if you spawn B. Reason being, there is ABSOLUTELY no way to flank on this map. Alpha has complete coverage on all sides including middle. If you disagree, please comment what strategy/flank you used when you've spawn bottom. EDIT: Also I'm an aggressive player so sitting back while the enemy team generates super is something I'm not comfortable with.

    • What's up perfect :) I think the map is fine, yes I agree that top spawn may have its advantages but bottom spawn isn't bad either. I think this map is not a rush in guns blazing type of map, i like to play aggressively too but when I came up against good teams I failed lol. So had to slow my game play down to win. It's a chill back and relax type of map, but I can't play like that. The biggest problem with B spawn is that there aren't many good spots that you can get to first before A can. Therefore you have to play more defensive. Personally I didn't enjoy this map. I am not the best PVP player out there but still managed to go flawless so wasn't to bad.

        Learning to play the map is important, calling it unbalanced just means that it was difficuly for you to learn and play. A spawn allowed for agro play styles and defensive. B spawn allowed you to control the capture point and hold special ammo down the hall way, both sides had their benefits.

        • I enjoyed trials on Blind Watch. One of the few maps with some verticality. Got too campy sometimes, but it was fun putting out the campfires!

          I went flawless on this map. Hear me out, yes I am a Sunsinger, Mida/Party Crasher/Viking Funeral Firebolt user, but when I spawned on Bravo, my teammates and I usually split up, with me going through the middle and holding down the room where heavy spawns for people flanking. Yes, I know I'm a scrub, no, idc. Still made it to le lighthouse

        • I went from top 50% in trials to top 10% on just this map and went flawless in an hour. I like this map.

          • Yup, this maps trash for Trials. I enjoy it for everything else, & I was psyched to hear it was the map. I thought it was gunna be awesome. But if you spawn on bottom, it's hella hard to win against a good team. & regardless of spawns, snipers run this map. Every single way to push forward is a sniper lane, with nasty head glitches & open sight lines. It's miserable to play on. You just have to play hella patiently. Otherwise you get domed hella fast trying to push up. Snipers rule this map. You can't get anywhere trying to run a shotgun against a team of [b]competent[/b] (key word) snipers. Annoying as shit to play against. I play Trials all weekend long usually. But not this weekend. [b]f[/b]uck that. I really did not enjoy my runs this week at all. This map just isn't enjoyable for me.

            • Disagree. Whilst it is unbalanced to the some and teams with no strategy, decent players can make it easily work. Bravo spawn gives you about 4 option to chose from and the majority of the time you know where the other team will be (up top near special and a sniper to the left where the old special spawned). Good thing about Bravo spawn is that it gives you 3 different elevations and levels to work with and makes pushing from multiple angles easy (creating a dilemma for opposition). Also a delayed jump up to the 'bird cage' once their attention is elsewhere gives you a sniper up top fairly easily.

              • To be honest, I prefer bottom spawn. I can pick one or two guys right off spawn. If you're smart, you'll have one sniper on the bottom cover and one all the way left. That way you drop them right off. If you're under the awning, jump on the first block and you can snipe top left, water tower and even doorway left. Only one guy watching the hallway or flank from B to their heavy. Works every time.

              • So this week Bungie pretty much decided that I would practically never spawn top (over 30 games maybe 4 games). The best strat that my team used was to split up and send a person out right to the door and two middle (from low spawn). The bottom is much closer to the flag so its advantages to camp. Plus under the canopy is a fairly even place to fight. So once you get a pick you rush the right and loop to center. This map is incredibly passive unfortunately. So you want the enemies to come to you (can use the flag). Plus gettin snipes on the right hall as they come trough the door is easy since you get there first from bottom. [spoiler]PS im not pretending to be great at trials. Just this strat worked well to get 1v1 situations and more advantages gun fights. Which I kinda lose soo :p[/spoiler]
