I agree with your, but you did miss an important point. Many players, myself included, have built a nice group of people to play with. maybe even formed a clan, a whatsapp group that spans across nations. Many people like this new friends and communities a lot and feel that if Destiny fails, they will lose that. Thats why they fight for a better and longer lasting game. Humans like the status quo, so its better to stay here than move on, specially a whole group. That said, In my case, my friends and I are already looking for other games to move to (the Division being the forerunner)

Rauko, I do not believe that online "friendships" can replace real life friendships, which have several additional dimensions of communication and interaction with each other. Reading your post makes me ask whether you lack real life relationships (not saying you do, but the question arises). That aside, there is a ton of online multiplayer games you can play with your friends. When I play Destiny, I either solo or raid, and I am always playing in random teams, and I am fine with that. For me, the purpose of a game like Destiny definitely is not to find friends or not feeling lonely. I just want to be distracted a bit, see and hear nice explosions and destroy some virtual stuff. :D

How are you chastising name calling there and yet posting all this garbage here?

  • I, like most, have friends, family, significant other and even a dog. we also have our online friends. My life certainly doesn't start or end online, but id like to keep it. its like chocolate, I can certainly live, snd live ok without it......but I rather not :)
