My solution for Mouldering Shards...
...is to have Eris take ten of them to increase light on any [raid] gear by 1.
I'm getting close to 60 shards at this point, and they pretty much serve no purpose since all my characters are 315<. This would be a simple and meaningful fix for Mouldering Shards.
