I have a feeling we'll be running into some discoveries eloquently named 'f*ck'.

Yeah, I think the most frequent name will be "Your Mom" or something like that (in many different variants if a name can only be used once). But since there are so many solar systems, I'm not sure if I will ever encounter something that already has been named.

They will probably be named, "you're mum: m80".

In relation to your post, the first planet I find I'm naming Vegeta. Hopefully some space tyrant doesn't blow it up or something.

Examples: Omicron Persei 8 Vegeta Namek Death Star Coruscant and other Star Wars planets Pikachu, Oddish and many other Pokemon Dogmeat Walter White etc. Which is why I will try to avoid these kind of names. I have no idea yet what I will come up with though.

I know, but I have to satisfy my inner DBZ fanboy. I always try to think of original names when I can, but its fun to think of things in pop culture to name things. Who knows someone might name something in NMS thats funny. Like naming a planet Rosie O Donnel.
