That would b sweet. Especially since Tex Machanica has you make kills with handcannons, and The Last Word to get the Chaperone and The First Curse. I'd love to see some more stuff from Tex especially.

would love a lever-action style rifle as an exotic primary.
-
Would you mind explaining a lever-action style rifle? I'm not the most knowledgeable about weapons in general.
-
Here is a clip of a lever action rifle being used. I think it will give you a better idea of what I mean by lever action than it would if I tried to explain it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJhUS7WyCsM For a lever action rifle, the trigger guard has a loop for your hand to fit in, which is actually part of a lever that you manipulate to chamber another round in the rifle. Similar rifles are often featured in western style movies. I think it would fit nicely with the Tex Machina theme of weapons.
-
Oh, I get you. I see what you mean, that would be cool. I've seen a lever-action mechanic like that in older rifle-style BB guns. That would definitely be an interesting weapon to use.
-
Yeah. Would totally fit in with the Western theme of Tex Mechanic weapons.
-
I agree. I would love for this to be a thing.
-
Bonus points if they added in a leather rifle holster on the side of a sparrow LOL
-
Well, now they just need to make a Tex M sparrow that looks like and alien horse, with leather holster for larger weapons, like rifles.
-
Have you not heard of No Land Beyond?
-
Yeah I've heard of it and tried using it back in Y1. It was garbage. But that's different. NLB is a bolt action WWI style sniper rifle, whereas the lever action rifle is more of a western style rifle, something that would fit in with the Tex Machina MO. The lever action rifle would have a higher rate of fire and a much bigger "magazine" which would put it squarely in the category of a primary, versus a sniper rifle, which the NLB is. I'm thinking something along the lines of an exotic scout rifle with a western theme to it.
-
Its not garbage its a niche weapon that pairs perfectly with a sidearm.
-
In Y1 it was garbage. The ammo reserve was glitched so you carried less than you should have been able to, and the site parallax/movement made it so difficult to aim, plus before it was patched, head shots would register as body shots and vice versa, or register as a miss because the weapon was truly glitched when released. I haven't tried the Y2 version but apparently all these issues have been addressed in Y2. If I have a harsh opinion on it, it was because it was the one weapon i was REALLY excited for in TDB and when I finally got it from Xur it was such a huge disappointment.
