- I look around, nobody's there, I wave back
- She starts walking towards me, "Hi, how are you?"
- "Oh, I'm doing just fine, what about you?"
- She walks past me to her friend sitting behind me
- I think I died of awkwardness

Done that quite a few times. I've just learned to keep quiet and if they wanna talk they'll walk up to me and do it.
