Because global KDR isn't a statistic, nor is it an average. You would have to take into account all destiny players' KDR to get an average. This would create a bell curve of KDR, which would give you your above average KDRs, as well as your garbage and elite. So technically you were wrong, but I get what you're saying. I would venture to say 1.0 is close to the average KDR, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a little higher. Either way, I completely agree with your point of the whole thread. KDR is an irrelevant statistic in my opinion. Most destiny players roll with new teams every time they play (including myself), so I don't see it very fair to hold it against people. A team of all .9s that play consistently together would probably average close to a 1.3+ together. It's why you see so many incredible PVP players. Most play with the same team consistently. Good on you though my friend.
