Again, doesn't matter what "the math says" in most games, because the standards are different for each game. You can't kill yourself in every shooter, so using suicides as an excuse for going negative or breaking even doesn't always work.
If you applied the same logic to a racing game it wouldn't work either. If you won 50% of your races and lost 50%, you wouldn't be considered a good player or even average. If you have a 50% batting average in Baseball, you're garbage. If you hit only 50% of you're free throws in basketball, you're garbage.
My original point is that, 1.0 is average in Destiny, but that's not acceptable in most other games.
