Math doesn't set the standards for who's considered good or bad at the game. People are going to judge each other regardless of the math or standards set by the community so it doesn't really matter if you think you're average or not. Killstreak rewards have ALWAYS counted towards your K/D in CoD by the way. They no longer count towards earning your next reward, but they definitely affect K/D.
