Is it suspicious when...

you are running trials of osiris and you get an xbox party invite before the round starts from the enemy team and one of your teammate lags out of the game? We have had this happen twice to us before and were wondering if it has anything to do with someone lagging out of a game.

  • Suspicious? Yeah, I might look into a lag exploit going on but I doubt it would actually be a way to cheat. If every time it happened, only the player that got the invite lagged out, then I'd be more suspicious of that. It's more likely just the other team wanting to talk so they can ask you to let them win, lol. I do know that it's been a tactic to spam invites to the opponent so that they are distracted and can't see their radar from all the invite banners popping up.

  • Did he...accept the invite?

      • There are many glitches in game so it can be hard to distinguish real cheating from the glitch but, let me put it that way, if I'm about to play a competitive game and I get any sort of contact/request from the opposition I'd be wondering about the timing. I'd ignore it but tell my team mates to watch out for anything suspicious in the game. After the game if they want to commiserate or congratulate is different, but before you've started?, there's no reason to message you.
